Spring Special 2008

The Spring Special was won today by Ray Reilly of Rathdrum with a score of 592, the highest indoor score since November 1998 when Ray himself scored a 593 in the Leinster Indoor Open. Ray was followed by Richard Stapleton Jr. of Wilkinstown Target Shooting Club with a score of 588 and by Sandy Wilson of East Coast Shooting Club with a score of 580. A total of 23 turned up to shoot today with a number of old faces making a welcome reappearance. Among the new faces, Aisling Miller of Dublin University Rifle Club stunned everyone with a fantastic 574 in her first competitive outing.
